From Skateholms Pensionat it is just 8 kilometres to Smygehuk, the southernmost tip of Sweden.
The old town of Ystad (23 kilometres) is a fantastic summer town with its well preserved mediaeval areas. And if the mood takes you, you can take a day trip by boat from Ystad to the Danish island of Bornholm.
Beyond Ystad there is the region called Österlen, famed for its beauty and full of interesting sights.
Other sights include the castles, our unique gardens, the ever-changing landscape, art exhibitions in outdoor settings and, of course, the food. Specialities from Skåne can be bought at the many farm shops and are served in the local restaurants.
If you like swimming and sunbathing, we can offer you 300 kilometres of beaches!
